ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the effect of Competence, Self-Efficacy and
Internship Experience on Work Readiness in Students of the 2021 Class of the S1
Management Study Program, Riau University. The population in this study were
active students of the S1 Management Faculty of Economics & Business, Riau
University, class of 2021.
Primary data was collected using a questionnaire as an instrument to
prove the results of the study, to test the hypothesis in this study using the
Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Partial Least Square (PLS) data
analysis tools with the help of the Smart-PLS ver. 4.0 program. The sampling
technique that has been chosen is the Cluster Sampling method of 79 management
students at Riau University.
The results of the study show that: 1) Competence has a positive effect on
student work readiness, 2) Self-Efficacy has a positive effect on student work
readiness, 3) Internship Experience has a positive effect on student work
readiness, 4) Competence, Self-Efficacy, and Internship Experience
simultaneously affect student work readiness.
