The stunting rate in Kampar Regency based on SSGI 2022 is at 14.5%, down drastically from the previous year of 25.7%. This, of course, is highly appreciated by relevant stakeholders in charge of stunting issues. The success of reducing stunting prevalence in Kampar Regency cannot be separated from the government's commitment with the formulation of Regent Regulation (Perbup) No. 44 of 2019 concerning stunting reduction. Furthermore, derivative policies were formulated such as; the formation of a stunting reduction acceleration team, determining the locus of stunting villages and the foster father program. This research aims to find out how collaborative governance accelerates stunting reduction in Kampar Regency and what obstacles are faced. This research uses qualitative methods. The research location is Kampar Regency. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. While the data collection methods are; in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data verification technique used was the triangulation method technique. The data analysis technique that the author uses is the Miles and Huberman model, namely; reduction, data analysis, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that effective collaborative governance plays an important role in increasing the effectiveness of stunting reduction programs. The active involvement of all sectors, including government, business, academia, media and the community, was found to be crucial in overcoming the challenges of stunting. However, this research also identified several barriers, such as lack of resources, communication constraints, and different priorities among stakeholders that can hinder the collaborative governance process. Based on these findings, this dissertation recommends several steps to improve collaborative governance in the stunting program in Kampar district: Stunting reduction in Kampar district is a good example of collaborative governance implementation. By involving 25 actors from various Pentahelix categories (government, media, community, business, and academia), the program succeeded in reducing the stunting rate in the area. Analysis shows that the Monitoring and Evaluation pillar is the highest priority, business actors are the most influential actors in reducing stunting and sharing understanding has the highest influence. The collaborative governance model implemented in Kampar district shows the importance of synergy and joint commitment in achieving the goal of reducing stunting in a sustainable manner. The program successfully reached vulnerable targets, including stunted children < 2 years, stunted children > 2 years, and pregnant women. Improving transparency and accountability through a more structured and systematic reporting system. This dissertation makes an important contribution to the understanding of collaborative governance in the context of public health programs, by highlighting how cooperation between stakeholders can be achieved.
