International law regulates almost all state activities. There are laws regarding the use of sea, air, space and Antarctica. There are laws that regulate postal telecommunications services, the transportation of goods and passengers, as well as finance. International law also pays great attention to issues of nationality, extradition, the use of armed force, human rights, environmental protection and national security. International law also pays attention to labor issues with the formation of the International Labor Organization (ILO).
This type of research is classified as normative juridical, namely research carried out by examining secondary legal materials or research based on standard rules that have been recorded, which is also called library research, whether through reading books, statutory regulations, materials from websites. on the internet, interviews and other reference sources that are related to this thesis material
From the research results, there are three main things that can be concluded. Firstly, remuneration has been regulated between men and women so that there is no difference in wages as regulated in ILO Number 100 of 1951. Second, although equality of remuneration has been regulated in ILO Number 100 of 1951 and it has also been regulated in the Employment Law, in practice it is still There are many violations that occur in the industrial relations sector, especially in the oil palm plantation sector. The third is that government and company efforts are needed to overcome the practice of wage differences between female and male workers. Author's suggestions, Firstly, the Government and Companies also work together to create training and education programs that promote gender equality and reduce stereotypes in the palm oil plantation workplace which can help overcome the root of the problem of wage inequality, secondly, there needs to be an initiative from oil palm plantation companies to adopt policies that support gender equality. This includes establishing fair and transparent wage policies, as well as ensuring that recruitment and promotion processes are not based on gender. In this way, conditions are created in accordance with Pancasila industrial relations.
