File management is one of the important processes in the operations of PT. Riau Pos Intermedia, which currently still uses a manual method for filing. This study aims to design and develop a web-based file management system to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of file management at PT. Riau Pos Intermedia. The research method used in the development of this information system is the research and development (R&D) method, which includes system design, implementation, and testing. This information system is built using programming languages such as PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with a MySQL database to store data. The results of the study show that this web-based file management information system can simplify the filing process at PT. Riau Pos Intermedia. With this information system, it is expected that PT. Riau Pos Intermedia can manage files more effectively and efficiently, as well as reduce file loss and damage.
