Pengaruh Manajemen Kepala Sekolah Dan Motivasi Mengajar Guru Terhadap Kinerja Guru Sekolah Dasar Di Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
Teacher performance is the main target in improving the quality of education in general. Therefore, improving teacher performance needs serious attention from various parties, and efforts to improve factors related to teacher performance such as principal leadership and work motivation. Teacher performance is very important to improve because considering the challenges of the world of education to produce quality human resources that are able to compete in an increasingly tight era of globalization. Teacher performance is an important factor in carrying out duties as educators.
The teacher's performance can also be seen when he carries out teaching and learning interactions in the classroom, including his preparation in the form of semester programs and teaching preparation. With regard to the importance of the assessment of teacher performance. Based on phenomena related to problems in the field regarding teacher performance, problems can be identified, including: 1) The ability in classroom management is still lacking, so that a conducive atmosphere in the classroom and a fun learning process has not been created. 2) In addition, the teacher does not vary the learning method, so that there is saturation in students when teaching and learning activities take place. 3) The teacher has not been maximal in utilizing the media so that the results in conveying messages (subject matter) to students are not optimal. 4) The ability of teachers to develop syllabus and lesson plans (RPP) is not optimal, thus creating an unattractive learning atmosphere.
Based on the background, several problems can be formulated in this study as follows: 1) Is there an influence between Principal Management on teacher performance in Public Elementary Schools, Bangko sub-district, Rokan Hilir district? 2) Is there an influence between teacher teaching motivation on teacher performance at the State Elementary School in Bangko sub-district, Rokan Hilir district? 3) Is there an influence between principal management and teacher teaching motivation on teacher performance at the State Elementary School in Bangko sub-district, Rokan Hilir district?
The aims of this study are 1) To find out how the relationship between principal management and teaching performance of SD Negeri Bangko district teachers in Rokan Hilir district is related. 2) To find out how the relationship between teacher teaching motivation and teacher performance at the State Elementary School in Bangko sub-district, Rokan Hilir district. 3) To find out how the relationship between principal management and teacher teaching motivation on the performance of elementary school teachers in Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency.

This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire with 83 teachers as respondents from 472 teachers at the SDN Sekecamatan Bangko, Rokan Hilir Regency which were chosen randomly, the sample was taken using the Slovin formula. The research method was carried out, namely the respondents gave responses to the questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale. Analysis of the data used is descriptive and inferential statistics.
Based on the results of the study, it was found that the principal's management had an effect on teacher performance. Motivation has an effect on teacher performance. Principal management and teacher motivation affect teacher performance. Principal management (X1) and teacher motivation (X2) simultaneously have a significant effect on Teacher Performance (Y). The research findings show that the value of r square (r2) is 0.837. By using the coefficient of determination, the magnitude of the influence between the variables of principal management and teacher motivation on teacher performance is 73.3%. The remaining 26.7% was determined by other factors that were not part of this study. Thus, the magnitude of the influence between the principal management variable (X1) and teacher motivation (X2) on teacher performance (Y) is at a strong level.
