Pengaruh Supervisi Akademik Kepala Sekolah Dan Motivasi Kerja Guru Terhadap Kinerja Guru SD Negeri Kecamatan Rupat
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of principal's
supervision and work motivation on teacher performance at the Rupat District
Elementary School. The background of the research is based on the description of
the performance of elementary school teachers in Rupat District, it is suspected
that many teachers do not have a good teaching plan, starting from lesson plans,
teaching methods, materials and media, there are teachers who pay less attention
to the effectiveness of teaching students, and there are also teachers who lack of
creating and maintaining conducive learning conditions, and teachers who are
less disciplined in carrying out classroom learning. So, teachers need continuous
coaching and mentoring. This guidance can be carried out by following the
academic supervision program from the school principal. In addition, teacher
performance can also be influenced by work motivation. The work motivation of
the teacher will be the driving force to complete the tasks given as a form of
responsibility and achieve goals in order to have optimal performance.
The research method applied in this research is ex post facto. The
population in this study were all elementary school teachers in cluster IV in Rupat
District, Bengkalis Regency, amounting to 380 people. The research sample was
taken using the Slovin formula so that the sample of this study consisted of 195
teachers. Data collection techniques, namely documentation and questionnaires
(questionnaires). Analysis of the data used is descriptive statistics and inferential
statistics. Implementation of academic supervision and teacher motivation have a
significant effect on teacher performance. The magnitude of the influence of the
Principal Academic Supervision (X1) and Teacher Pedagogic Competence (X2)
on Teacher Performance (Y) is 43.1% while the rest is determined by other
factors that are not part of this study.
