Keanekaragaman Ikan Di Perairan Sungai Kampar Kiri Desa Mentulik Kecamatan Kampar Kiri Hilir Kabupaten Kampar Provinsi Riau
Abstract
The Kampar River is flown across the Mentulik Village and this area is inhabited by
many fish species. This research aims to determine the diversity of fish species in the
Kampar River, especially in the waters of Mentulik Village area. Samplings were
carried out 4 times, once in 2 weeks, from October to November 2019. The fishes
were captured using a gill net, fish hooks, scoop-nets and fish traps. The fishes
captured were then described and identified. Results shown that there were 211 fishes
captured and they were belonged to 24 species, 21 genus, 10 families and 5 ordo.
They were consisted of Barbodes schwanenfeldii, Cyclocheilichthys apogon, Hampala
macrolepidota, Osteochilus hasselti, O. kelabau, Oxygaster anomalura,
Amblyrhynchichtys truncatus, Barbichthys laevis, Rasbora argyrotaenia, Botia
hymenophysa, Thynnichthys thynnoides, Channa striata, C. lucius, Pristolepis grootii,
Helostoma temminckii, Hemibagrus nemurus, Mystus nigriceps, Bagroides melapterus,
Pangasius polyuranodon, Cygnolossus microlepis, Himantura signifier, Ompok
hypopthalmus, Kryptopterus lais and K.limpok. The most common fish was M.
nigriceps (12.32%), while the rarest fish were B. hymenophysa, C. microlepis, H.
signifier (0.47% each). The diversity index value (H’) was 4.1929 (high), the uniformity
index value (E) was 0.9144 (medium) and the dominance index value (C) was 0.0643
(low). The number of species the community is quite large because it is supported by
a balanced environment or ecosystem and disturbances environment do not really
affect to organisms. Water quality parameters were as follows: depth 4.53-8.15 m,
transparency 22.5-30 cm, temperature 28-33oC, current speed 0.38-0.46 m/s, pH 6 and
dissolved oxygen 4.06-4.47 mg/L.
