ABSTRAC
Oil palm is one of the important and strategic commodities in Rokan Hulu
Regency and is a prima donna crop because of its considerable role in
encouraging the people's economy, especially for plantation farmers. and
determine the implications of self-help oil palm rejuvenation in Rokan Hulu
Regency. The results showed that the income of Rokan Hulu oil palm farming had
an RCR value of > 1, which was 1.57, meaning that every cost incurred by
farmers was Rp. 1.00, it would generate farmer income of Rp. 1.57 and supporting
attributes for farmers in rejuvenating oil palm. self-help pattern, namely the
existence of banks, cooperative members and cultivation techniques. These
attributes have a strong influence on farmers' attitudes. The implications of the
development of self-help oil palm rejuvenation are improvements in the attributes
of human resources, ease of selling results, capital and legality. This applies as a
consideration for the farmers themselves.
