Penyusunan Neraca Spasial Sumber Daya Air Pulau Natuna Kepulauan Riau
ABSTRACT
Natuna Island is one of the strategic areas that has potential to become a tourism
industry. Natuna has nine watersheds with a total area of 1,633.33 km² and has
81,495 people in 2020. Population growth and development areas on the Natuna
Island cause less land to absorb water which has an impact on flooding and
drought problems. This problem can be solved by conducting a study the spatial
water balance to determine the availability and demand for water on Natuna
Island. Analysis of the availability of water is conducted by rainfall data of half
monthly period from 2010-2020 using National Rural Electric Cooperative
Association (NRECA) with discharge comparison from Automatic Water Level
Recorder (AWLR) Tapau Reservoir for calibration. NRECA parameter
calibration value obtained are percentage of runoff that overflowing on surface
line (PSUB) = 0.3; percentage of ground water flow (GWF) = 0.2; soil moisture
storage (SMstor) = 600 mm; and ground water storage (GWstor) = 1000 mm. The
results of the analysis in 2020 obtained the maximum availability of water in the
Binjai Watershed is 1471.72×106 m³/year and water demand is 84.21×106
m³/year so that the water balance in 2020 was 1387.51×106 m³/year with a light
blue water balance color which indicated that the water balance in Binjai
watershed is not critical and estimate in 2040 the water balance of the Binjai
watershed is 1353.44×106 m³/year with a light blue color balance which means
that the availability of water in the Binjai watershed is sufficient for the next
twenty years.
