Analisis Pemahaman Siswa Sekolah Dasar Suku Talang Mamak Terhadap Kearifan Lokal Rimba Puaka
This study aims to describe the understanding of elementary school students from
the Talang Mamak tribe towards the local wisdom of Rimba Puaka at SDN 011
and SD Marginal Talang Gedabu. The method used in this research is a qualitative
research method with an ethnographic type of research. Data collection techniques
used are observation, interviews and documentation. After getting the data, the
analysis technique in this study uses the Miles and Huberman model, that is data
reduction, data display and verification. The results of this study indicate that the
understanding of the Talang Mamak Tribe Elementary School students towards
the local wisdom of Rimba Puaka is at a moderate level of understanding. This is
evidenced from the results of interviews conducted by researchers. Overall,
students were able to answer the five indicators used by the researcher, the
indicators were: 1) Able to explain about Rimba Puaka, 2) Able to explain the
rules contained in Rimba Puaka, 3) Able to describe procedures for entering
Rimba Puaka, 4) Able to tell about Rimba Puaka, 5) Able to conclude about the
Rimba Puaka. Based on the results of the research conducted, elementary school
students from the Talang Mamak tribe still know and understand the local wisdom
of Rimba Puaka. This is because the Talang Mamak people still adhere to their
customs.
