The implementation of good governance in village financial
management is the application of good governance in implementing village
financial management which aims to prosper the village community by
implementing the principles of accountability, transparency and participation. The
problem in this study is the lack of transparency of the village government in
managing village finances in the reporting aspect and the lack of community
participation in village financial management in Kulim Jaya Village. The research
approach used in this research is a qualitative approach and the type of descriptive
research, the research location is in Kulim Jaya Village, Lubuk Batu Jaya District,
Indragiri Hulu Regency. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview
and documentation. The results of this study are First, on the implementation of
good governance in village financial management, the Kulim Jaya Village
government has not entirely run as it should, in this case the Kulim Jaya Village
government, is still experiencing delays in reporting the village fund
accountability report in 2021, this is This is due to the limited human resources of
the village apparatus in dealing with new ones and the sub-district government
does not provide sanctions or reprimands to Kulim Jaya Village which is
experiencing delays in reporting the 2021 SPJ report. Second, the inhibiting factor
for implementing good governance in village financial management in Kulim Jaya
Village is limitations. Human resources of the Kulim Jaya Village apparatus, the
delivery of information on village financial management that comes from the
village's original income from oil palm plantations belonging to Kulim Jaya
Village, this is because the RT and RW are still passive in the information added
to the community t so that it can affect community participation in both village
financial management and village government.
