ABSTRACT
Farmers are parties who still have weak access to information sources
(internet), so they only rely on the ability of extension workers to develop
agricultural innovation learning processes. This study aims to determine the
characteristics of the instructor and to analyze the use of the internet for
agricultural extension workers at BPP Kuantan Mudik District and BPP Sentajo
Raya District. This research method uses descriptive analysis and Likert scale.
The results showed 1) most of them were middle-aged adults, had a bachelor's
degree education, 05-10 years of experience in conducting counseling, the media
owned were 2 media, cosmopolitan for 4-5 times/week, income of Rp. 4,200,000-
Rp. 5,000,000, intensity of extension workers 21-26 times/month, each person has
2 assisted villages, the number of information sources is very easy to get the latest
agricultural information, the network is 2,3,4 GB, credit/quota 16-20 GB/month.
2) Internet use in the form of perceptions of usefulness, convenience, attitudes,
and behavior desire are classified as very high, while actual use is classified as
high.
