Pengaruh Penerapan 1 Bin 3 Order Terhadap Performance Stuffing, Inventory, Dan Kualitas Produk Folio Di Paper Warehouse Pt Riau Andalan Pulp And Paper
ABSTRACT
The paper warehouse is a place to store finished products in the form of a
folio, cut sizes and rolls. The activity in the paper warehouse is the receiving
process which is the process of receiving the product from finishing to be placed
in the bin through the stacking process, then the product will be put into a
container called the stuffing process. The 1 bin 3 order method is the placing of
products in 1 bin for a maximum of 3 types of orders from Customer. Variation
the number of orders in the 1 bin at the EA11 location in December 2020 reached
14 orders, while in September 2021 it decreased, namely 5 types of orders. The
implementation of 1 bin 3 orders affects Inventory, Performance stuffing and
product quality. The effect on inventory is location accuracy before the
application of the 1 bin 3 order method, which is 95% and then increases to 98%.
The effect of 1 bin 3 orders on performance stuffing, namely before the
implementation of 1 bin 3 orders 89.570 mt, then performance stuffing increased
in June 2021 to reach 90.013 mt and in September 2021 it reached 90.260 mt. The
effect on quality is a decrease in quality inspection, before implementation there
were 70 defects, but after applying 1 bin 3 orders only 50 defects. Factors that
affect the variation of orders in 1 bin are scanner malfunctions, operators placing
products in bins close to the conveyor area, and loading bay areas. In order for
the implementation of 1 bin 3 orders to be maximized, it is necessary to upgrade
the system as well as forklift and scanner technology so that errors automatically
occur if the operator places the product in the wrong place. Then it is necessary
to apply a work order for the preparation of the product location to the bin so that
the operator's work is more focused.
