Identifikasi Zooplankton Di Perairan Sungai Sibam Kota Pekanbaru Provinsi Riau
Abstract
Zooplankton is a group of planktonic organisms, animal groups, first-level consumers in
aquatic ecosystems, natural food, and serves as a source of energy for aquatic organisms.
This study aims to determine the type and abundance of zooplankton in the waters of the
Sibam River, which was conducted in July–August 2021, using a survey method. The
results of the identification carried out found 8 species of zooplankton Acarus sp.,
Argonotholca foliacea, Branchionus sp., Cyclops sp., Euglypha rotunda, Lepadella
oblonga, Lepadella triba, Notholca sp. The abundance of zooplankton is 700 ind/L, and
this is classified as moderate abundance. Recorded temperature 29.7-31 oC, brightness 20
cm, depth 31.3-86.3 cm, pH 4.3-5, Dissolved Oxygen 4.6-6.6 mg/L, Free Carbon dioxide
16.3-23 ,9 mg/L.
