ABSTRACT
Oil palm is one of state crops that plays an important role to the welfare and the economy of Indonesia. Oil palm development provides benefits in the form of increased income for smallholders. Income from oil palm plantation which provide farmers needs become crucial for sustainability of farmers’ welfare. This study aims to identify factors that influence income of independent oil palm smallholders and analyze factors that influence significantly income of independent oil palm smallholders in Pauh Village. Income analysis is needed to describe the current state of a farming activity and describe the future state of planning or action as well as providing assistance to measure the success of the business carried out, so that it is expected that the income of farmers through the farming will increase.Using purposive sampling technique with a total sample of 42 respondents. This research use descriptive quantitative analisis. The results showed that production costs, FFB prices, land area and plant age labor simultaneously influence income of independent oil palm smallholders in Pauh Village. The most significant factor on the farmer’s income land area.
