ABSTRACT
The Central Bureau of Statistics of Riau Province recorded that the area of oil palm plantations in Riau province is 2,435,540 hectares, with a production of 6,641,338 tons/year. The size of the area of oil palm plantations and also the amount of production, is not directly proportional to the situation for independent oil palm farmers in Bangko Lestari Village, Bangko Pusako District. One of the problems faced by oil palm farmers is the marketing of fresh fruit bunches (FFB), where oil palm farmers in Bangko Lestari Village are very dependent on oil palm tauke. If this continues, there will be a patron-client relationship. Then oil palm farmers occupy a less favorable position in the transaction, where oil palm farmers have the weakest position. In general, oil palm owners also double as loan lenders for the daily needs of oil palm farmers and are willing to lend funds with a payback system to oil palm farmers. This study aims to analyze the level of satisfaction and expectations of oil palm farmers on the attributes of collector traders in Bangko Lestari Village, Bangko Pusako District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The analysis used is descriptive quantitative analysis. The results showed a high level of satisfaction and a high level of expectation, where in the Cartesian diagram analysis there were eight attributes of the thirteen attributes of oil palm tauke that were in quadrant II. Attributes that are in quadrant II are cash payments, lending, giving THR, fast and good service, availability of production facilities, keeping agreements/promises, expensive palm oil prices and sorting. This is an advantage that oil palm tauke has.
