Pengaruh Media Tanam Dan Interval Pemberian Nutrisi Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Tomat (Solanum Lycopersicum) Pada Sistem Hidroponik Fertigasi Tetes
ABSTRACT
Cultivation with a drip fertigation system using rice husk charcoal and sawdust is expected to optimize the growth and production of tomato plants. This study aims to determine the effect of the combination of planting media and the interval of giving the best nutrient solution on the growth and production of tomato plants. The research was conducted in the screen house of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, from July to September 2020. With a factorial design using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The first factor is the planting medium, consisting of 5 levels: M1: Single Husk Charcoal, M2: Husk Charcoal- Sawdust (1:1), M3: Husk Charcoal- Sawdust (2:1), M4: Husk Charcoal- Sawdust (1:2), M5: Single Sawdust. The second factor is the provision of nutritional water, consisting of 2 levels: I1: irrigated once a day (morning), I2: irrigated twice a day (morning and evening), consisting of 3 replications. The results showed that the combination of husk-sawdust charcoal media treatment (1:2) with watering intervals twice a day was better for plant height growth, number of branches, number of fruit, fruit weight 46%. Rice husk-sawdust charcoal media (1:2) was better for plant height, number of branches, number of fruit and fruit weight of 16% and fresh weight. Interval of watering nutrients twice a day is very good for the growth and yield of tomato plants.
