Inovasi Pelayanan Pada Kepolisian Sektor Kecamatan Tampan Kota Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
In this era of globalization, innovation is a necessity that is considered
capable of improving the quality of public services, maximizing the potential of
the apparatus, restoring public trust, and overcoming the problems of
bureaucratic pathology that often occur. One of the regional apparatus for
providing public services that continues to innovate is the Sector Police of the
Tampan District of Pekanbaru City which carries out the service process with an
application system (online) and drive thru services for making Lost Goods
Reports and Extension of Police Records Certificates (SKCK). The purpose of this
research is to find out Service Innovation in the Police Sector in Tampan District,
Pekanbaru City, as well as the factors that become obstacles to Service
Innovation in the Police Sector in Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. The
theoretical concept used in this study is the theory of innovation attributes, the
Innovation Theory of Everett M. Rogers in Anjani et 2019. The method used by
the researchers in this study is a qualitative method with data collection
techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results
obtained in this study indicate that the innovations carried out by the Tampan
District Police are still not fully running optimally, because the achievements of
several indicators have not been fully achieved. The inhibiting factors in this
research are the lack of budgetary resources, inadequate facilities and
infrastructure, the lack of public understanding about innovation.
