Uji Beberapa Dosis Tepung Daun Jeruk Purut (Citrus Hystrix Dc.) Terhadap Mortalitas Hama Kumbang Bubuk Beras (Sitophilus Oryzae L.) Di Penyimpanan
ABSTRACT
Rice is one of the most common meals consumed by Indonesians on a regular basis. The rice powder beetle is a rice pest (Sitophilus oryzae L). Rice powder bugs can be controlled using botanical insecticides. The goal of this study was to find out what dosages of kaffir lime leaf powder (Citrus hystrix DC.) were most successful in controlling S. oryzae pests on rice in storage. The experiment used a completely randomized design (CRD) with six treatments, including 0 g.100 g-1, 2 g.100 g-1 , 4 g.100 g-1 , 6 g.100 g-1, 8 g.100 g-1,10g.100 g-1. Each treatment consisted of four steps that were performed four times. This study is divided into two parts. The following parameters were observed in this study: early death time, 50% lethal time, daily mortality, total mortality, individual increase, and seed weight loss. The results from the analysis of variance will be further tested at the 5% level using the further test of honest genuine difference (BNJ). The application of kaffir lime leaf flour at a dose of 10 g.100 g-1 rice with an initial time of death of 8,50 hours, a fatal time of 15,76 hours, and a total mortality of 62,50 percent was shown to be inefficient in controlling S. oryzae because it was unable to kill pests at or above 80 percent. Giving kaffir lime leaf flour with a dosage of 10 g.100 g-1 rice resulted in a 0.90 percent decrease in rice shrinkage and a 15.75 percent rise in people.
