Pengaruh Pupuk Kascing Dan Npk Mutiara Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Terung Ungu (Solanum Melongena L.) Pada Tanah Ultisol

ABSTRACT
The research aims to determine the growth and yield of purple eggplants (Solanum melongena L.) with the application of vermicompost and NPK Mutiara in Ultisol. The research was conducted at Kebun Percobaan, Agriculture Faculty, University of Riau, Binawidya Campus Km 12,5, Simpang Baru sub-district, Tampan district, Pekanbaru, which used Completely Randomized Design as a method consisting of 2 factors and 3 replications. The first factor was vermicompost dosage which consists of 4 levels namely K0 : 0 ton.ha-1, K1 : 5 tons.ha-1, K2 : 10 tons.ha-1, and K3 : 15 tons.ha-1. The second factor was NPK mutiara dosage which consists of 3 levels namely P1 : 250 kg.ha-1, P2 : 300 kg.ha-1, and P3 : 350 kg.ha-1. The observed parameters were plant height, number of primary branches, flowering age, harvesting age, fruit diameter, fruit length, fruit weight, number of fruits, and fruit weight per plant. The result showed that interaction of vermicompost at 15 tons.ha-1 and NPK Mutiara at 350 kg.ha-1 resulted in plant height, number of primary branches, flowering age, harvesting age, fruit diameter, fruit length, fruit weight, number of fruits, and fruit weight per plant were higher compared to other treatments Keywords: purple eggplant, ultisol, vermicompost, NPK Mutiara
