Uji Beberapa Konsentrasi Ekstrak Tepung Daun Krinyuh (Eupatorium Odoratum L.) Untuk Mengendalikan Ulat Bawang Merah Spodoptera Exigua Hubner
ABSTRACT The red onion armyworm (Spodoptera exigua Hubner) is the main pest on shallot plants. Environmentally friendly control using botanical insecticides from Krinyuh Leaves (Eupatorium odoratum L.). This study aims to obtain an effective krinyuh leaf extract to control Spodoptera exigua. This research was conducted. The research was carried out at the Plant Pest Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, UPT Experimental Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, Pekanbaru. The study took place from March to April 2021. The study was conducted experimentally with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of seven treatments and four replications in order to obtain 28 experimental units. The treatment given was the concentration of crunchy leaves with a concentration of 0 ml.l-1 water, 5 ml.l-1 water, ml.l-1 water, 7 ml.l-1 water, 8 ml.l-1 water, 9 ml.l-1 water, and 10 ml.l-1 water. The results showed that the application of krinyuh leaf extract had a significant effect on killing Spodoptera exigua Hubner larvae. that the concentration of krinyuh leaf extract 10 ml.l-1 of water is an effective concentration for controlling shallot caterpillar pests because this concentration can cause a total death of 85% with an initial death time of 3 hours after application and a death time of 50 at 41,25 hours after application.
