Pertumbuhan Biji Tanaman Bawang Merah (Allium Ascalonicum L) Pada Beberapa Medium Tanam

ABSTRACT
This research have purpose to know the impact of giving some medium to the shallots seed and determined the perfect medium to increased the red onion seed. This study was experiment research using compeletly randomized designed with the treatment of the types medium that is consisted of: Incepticol, Cocopeat and Rice Husk. The study was conducted with 4 treatments and until 5 repetition, so that there were 20 experimental units and each experimental unit consisted of 16 plants. The data was analyzed with statistical by using analysis of variance. The finding analysis of variance The results of the variance were continued with Duncan New Multiple Range test at the 5% level. Parameters observed consisted of plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers, tuber diameter, weight of wet tubers, dry defecation of tubers suitable for storage and also harvesting. The results of this research reveal that the type of medium had a significant effect on the test parameters of soil emergence, percentage of seed germination, number of plant leaves, weight of wet plant, and also the dry one. In addition it is also have an impact to tuber diameter but had no significant effect on plant height parameters. Incepticol soil medium treatment with cocopeat (1:1) tended to be the best way for the growth and yield of shallots.
