Penggunaan Cendawan Entomopatogen Beauveria Bassiana (Bals.) Vuillemin Lokal Terhadap Spodoptera Frugiperda J. E. Smith Ulat Grayak Jagung Di Laboratorium
ABSTRACT
This aims of this study to obtain the best concentration of the local fungus B. bassiana to control S. frugiperda J.E. Smith maize pests in Laboratory. The research was conducted at the Laboratory of plants pest, Fakulty of Agriculture, Riau University, Bina Widya street km 12.5. Simpang Baru village, Tampan district. Pekanbaru. This research was conducted from July to September 2021. The study was conducted experimentally using a completely randomized design (RAL) consisting of 6 treatments and 4 replications in order to obtain 24 experimental units. The treatments used was the concentration of the local entomopathogenic fungus B. bassiana 0 g.l-1 water, 10 g.l-1 water, 20 g.l-1 water, 30 g.l-1 water, 40 g.l-1 water and 50 g.l-1 water. The result showed that the use of local concentrations of CEP B. bassiana 30 g.l-1 water with a conidia density of 0.70 x 108 con.ml-1 can be expressed as a bioinseticide to control S. frugiperda larvae of corn armyworm, because it can cause a total mortality of 75%. The use of local concentrations of CEP B. bassiana of 40 g.l-1 water with a conidia density of 0.76 x 108 con.ml-1 was the best concentration in controlling S. frugiperda larvae of maize pests with a total mortality of 80%, the initial time mortality 56.25 hours after application, lethal time 50 of 106.75 hours after application and lethal concentrations 50 and 95 respectively 0.76% and 15.23%.
