Pengaruh Pemberian Sludge Dan Pupuk Npk Terhadap Pertumbuhan Bibit Kelapa Sawit (Elaeis Guineensis Jacq.) Di Pembibitan Utama

ABSTRACT
This research aims to determine the effect of giving sludge and NPK fertilizer and to obtain the best combination dose of sludge and NPK fertilizer on the growth of oil palm seedlings in the main nursery. The research was conducted at Kebun Percobaan, Agriculture Faculty, University of Riau, Binawidya Campus Km 12,5, Simpang Baru sub-district, Tampan district, Pekanbaru, using completely randomized design, the first factor was sludge at doses of 10 g, 20 g, and 30 g per plant, and the second factor was NPK fertilizer doses at doses of 5 g, 10 g, and 15 g per plant. Parameters observed were increase in plant height, increase in number of leaves, stem diameter, root volume, plant dry weight and root crown ratio. The results showed that the administration of sludge and NPK 15:15:15 had an effect on plant growth such as increase in plant height, increase in number of leaves, increase in stem diameter, root volume, plant dry weight and root crown ratio of oil palm plants in the main nursery. The application of 30 g of sludge per plant and 15:15:15 of 10 g of NPK fertilizer per plant gave the best growth and development of oil palm seedlings.
