Pengaruh Jumlah Bibit Dan Frekuensi Pengendalian Gulma Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Padi Sawah (Oryza Sativa L.) Pada Aliran Air 5 Cm Di Bawah Permukaan Tanah
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the interaction of the number of seeds in the planting hole and the frequency of the best weed control on the growth and production of lowland rice (Oryza sativa L.) at a water discharge 5 cm below the soil surface. The experimental design used was a factorial design arranged in a Randomized Block Design (RBD). The first factor is the number of seeds consisting of 3 levels (1, 2 and 3 seeds in the planting hole). The second factor was the frequency of weed control which consisted of 3 levels (30 DAP, 20, 30 DAP, and 20, 30, 40 DAP). The data obtained were analyzed using Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at a level of 5%. Parameters observed were plant height, root crown ratio, maximum tiller number, number of productive tillers, number of pithy grain in panicle, percentage of pithy grain, weight of milled dry grain and weight of 1000 pithy grain. The results showed that the treatment of 3 seedlings per hill and the frequency of weed control 20, 30 and 40 DAP resulted in the production of dry milled grain of 3,39 kg (9,6 ton.ha-1) highes compare to another treatment.
