Uji Kombinasi Pupuk Organik Dengan Anorganik Dan Penggunaan Insektisida Terhadap Produksi Tanaman Jagung Manis (Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt)
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the growth and production of sweet corn by reducing the use of inorganic fertilizers and chemical insecticides. This research was conducted for 4 months starting from July to October 2020. Using a factorial completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor is fertilization consisting of four levels, namely 100% inorganic fertilizer + organic fertilizer 16 tons.ha-1, 75% inorganic fertilizer + organic fertilizer 20 tons.ha-1, 50% inorganic fertilizer + organic fertilizer 24 tons.ha-1, 25% inorganic fertilizer + organic fertilizer 28 ton.ha-1. The second factor is the type of insecticide which consists of three levels, namely Chemical Insecticides, Semi-vegetable Insecticides, and Biological Insecticides. Parameters observed were plant height, stem diameter, leaf length, leaf width, time of emergence of male flowers, time of emergence of female flowers, time of harvest, weight per ear with corn kernels, weight per ear without corn kernels, weight of ear with corn kernels per plot, length of ear stalk. , diameter of the ear, number of rows of seeds per ear, volume of roots, types of pests that attack, and intensity of attack. The data obtained were analyzed statistically using analysis of variance and further tested with Duncan's New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) level 5% using the SAS application. Reduction of 25% inorganic fertilizers and the use of semi-vegetable and biological insecticides showed better results on the parameters of weight per ear with corn kernels, weight per ear without corn kernels, and weight per ear with corn kernels per plot.
