Analisis Karakteristik Habitat Mangrove Di Kawasan Ekowisata Bandar Bakau Kelurahan Pangkalan Sesai Kecamatan Dumai Barat Kota Dumai
Mangrove forest is one of the unique coastal ecosystems. The ecological function is to prevent sea water intrusion, protect the coastline, and find food (feeding ground). In general, the severity of disturbance in mangrove forest areas is influenced by biotic and abiotic factors. The purpose of the study was to identify the characteristics of the habitat to identify the characteristics of the habitat in the Ecotourism Area of Bandar Bakau, Pangkalan Sesai Village, Dumai District. Purposive sampling method. Observation of water quality by line transect method. The measuring plot is made perpendicular to the shoreline. Sampling used three plots with a distance between plots of 60 m. The highest bulk density value was 2,89% soil with a sandy texture. The lowest value of bulk density is 2,34% with a clay texture. The average mud depth is 100 cm. Salinity ranges from 15-23 ppt. The pH value of the water is 6,74-8,02. semidiurnal tidal pattern.
