Pengaruh Komunikasi Interpersonal Dan Konsep Diri Terhadap Kompetensi Kepribadian Guru Di SMP Negeri Kecamatan Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis
The personality competence of junior high school teachers can be
influenced by several factors including interpersonal communication and selfconcept.
Interpersonal communication carried out by teachers can be seen from
their daily personality, namely in the ways they interact with students, colleagues,
and leaders at school. Then the self-concept is closely related to personality
competence, with a good self-concept, the teacher can know himself, which is a
combination of beliefs about the physical, psychological, social, emotional,
aspirations, and achievements they have achieved. This study aims to determine
the effect of Interpersonal Communication and Self-Concept on the Personality
Competence of State Junior High School teachers, Mandau District, Bengkalis
Regency. The research uses quantitative methods with multiple linear regression
analysis techniques. The results showed that partially Interpersonal
Communication variable (X1) had a significant influence on the Personality
Competence of Junior High School teachers (Y), this was evidenced by the
significance value of t (0.003) greater than 0.05. then partially the Self-Concept
variable (X2) has a significant influence on the Personality Competence of SMP
teachers (Y), this is indicated by the significance value of t (0.000) less than 0.05.
Furthermore, if the test is carried out together the results are Interpersonal
Communication Variables (X1) and Self-Concept (X2) together have a significant
effect on the Teacher Personality Competence variable (Y). This is indicated by
the significance value of F (0.000b) less than 0.05.
