Analisis Keterkaitan Harga Dengan Mutu Bokar Yang Dihasilkan Petani Dalam Pemasaran Karet Rakyat Di Kecamatan Batang Peranap Indragiri Hulu
Batang Peranap sub-district is one of the largest rubber plantation centers in Indragiri Hulu Regency with rubber production up to 7,877 tons in 2018. Rubber produced in Batang Peranap sub-district is processed into processed rubber material (Bokar) in the form of lumps. Basically, the bokar produced by farmers is in a low quality, so the price of bokar is only around Rp6000/kg and it has even reached the lowest point of Rp5,000 / kg. The purpose of this study is to describe the quality of rubber farmers in Batang Peranap District, to analyze the price fixing of bokar by wholesalers, and to analyze the effect of bokar quality on rubber prices. This research is conducted in Batang Peranap sub-district, Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province. The analytical method used is the descriptive method of percentages and associative analysis in the form of multiple linear regression analysis with dummy variables. The results show that 60% of the respondent farmers produce dried rubber, 40% of the respondents produce rubber with a small amount of contaminants, 5% of the respondents produce rubber with recommended thickness, and 5% of the respondent farmers produce rubber with recommended coagulants. The results also show that the rubber price fixing by wholesalers is carried out with rubber quality parameters such as water content, cleanliness, thickness and type of coagulant. The results of multiple linear regression with dummy variables indicate that of the four rubber quality variables, the water content and cleanliness variables have a positive and significant effect on price. While the thickness variable has a negative effect on the price and the coagulant variable has a positive but it doesn’t have significant effect on the price.
