Studi Tentang Kesulitan Membaca Permulaan Siswa Sekolah Dasar
The purpose of this study was to describe the students' initial reading difficulties and the factors of early reading difficulties. This type of research is a qualitative research with case study method. The data sources in this study were students, teachers, and parents with the research subject being a third grade elementary school student. The results of this study were difficulties in reading at the beginning such as not being fluent in reading, many reading errors, difficulty distinguishing letters that were almost similar, and errors in pronouncing words or sound symbols. The factors are internal factors, namely the interests and cognitive abilities of students and external factors, namely parents and the transition to the learning system in the Covid-19 era.
