Karakterisasi Isolat Chlorella Sp. Dari Sungai Rawa Kawasan Taman Nasional Zamrud Kabupaten Siak Sebagai Sumber Bioetanol
Abstract
Chlorella sp. is one of the aquatic plants that play an important role in the environment as primary producer. One of the advantages of Chlorella sp. Some species are able to survive in various types of waters including peat, brackish swamps, rivers and lakes. Microalgae contain oil (lipids), carbohydrates, proteins with very wide variations in composition which can be used as a renewable energy source. Chemical content of the microalgae Chlorella Sp. The results of culture from swamp waters sequentially carbohydrates 24.004%, protein 29.778%, fat 1.263%, glucose 46.165%, and biomass 2.76 gr/l. While the chemical content of Chorella Sp. from the algae center laboratory of the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine carbohydrates 12,77 %, protein 45,09 %, fat 10,85 %, glucose 41,132 %,, and biomass 0,772 gr/l. After each sample was hydrolyzed and fermented with Saccharomyces cereviceae , it produced relatively the same bioethanol, namely 5.0% and 5.5%.
