Identifikasi Miskonsepsi Peserta Didik Menggunakan Four Tier Diagnostic Test Pada Materi Termokimia Kelas XI Mipa SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Toar

The study aims to find out the misconceptions of students on thermochemical material from the results of a limited trial using four diagnostic test in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Toar which was carried out in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year and data collection was carried out from July to by August 2022 at SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Toar. The population in this study were all students of class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri 1 Gunung Toar, totaling 46 students. The simple in this study is the entire population. The instrument used in the study was four tier multiple choice questions (four tiers) and interviews. The type of research was descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques were diagnostic tests and interviews.The results showed that students experienced the lowest misconceptions of 27,17% included in the category of level of misconceptions low and the highest misconceptions is 52,18%, including the category of moderate misconcaptions level. Factors for the occurrence of misconceptions include students themselves and learning methods used.
