Analisis Pemasaran Kelapa Sawit Pada Petani Swadaya Di Kecamatan Batang Cenaku Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu
ABSTRACT Riau Province is one of the provinces that cultivate oil palm plantations. One of the main problems in developing oil palm plantations in Riau, One of the main problems in the development of oil palm plantations in Riau, especially in Batang Cenaku District is the marketing aspect, Therefore, this study aims to determine (1) the most profitable marketing channels for farmers as well as the margin and efficiency of self-help oil palm marketing in Batang Cenaku District. (2) how is the economic institutional relationship between farmers and marketing institutions or independent palm oil traders in Batang Cenaku District. Proportional sampling technique was used in sampling. There are 43 farmers and 13 traders. The sample of traders is taken based on the channel that is passed. The results of the study found that the most profitable and most efficient marketing channel is marketing channel I because it has a smaller marketing margin, namely of Rp 308 per Kg with marketing efficiency of 6,38% compared to marketing channel II which is Rp 461 per Kg, marketing channel III of Rp 467 per Kg and IV of Rp 633 per Kg. The economic institutional relationship between farmers and traders can be seen from the institutional authority structure, namely "loose-less controlled", work differentiation is "small-medium", subsistence guarantee is "medium-high", the interaction symbol is "personal trust", capital control is "small-medium", technological incentives are relatively "small-medium", sharing system is "medium", the determination of the cost of goods is “medium-high”, horizontal integration is “weak”, and vertical integration is “high”.
