Persepsi Petani Terhadap Peran Penyuluh Pertanian Dalam Mendukung Dinamika Kelompoktani Hortikultura Di Kecamatan Tigapanah Kabupaten Karo

ABSTRACT
This research was conducted in Tigapanah District, Karo District, North
Sumatra from November 2021 to September 2022. The aims of this study were to:
(1) identify the agricultural extension system in Tigapanah District, (2) identify
the role of agricultural extension workers in Tigapanah District, (3) identify
dynamics of horticultural farmer groups in Tigapanah District, and (4) knowing
the effect of the role of agricultural extension workers on the dynamics of
horticultural farmer groups in Tigapanah District. The sampling method is cluster
sampling with a sample size of 125 people. Data analysis used descriptive
analysis, Likert scale, and Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results showed:
(1) The extension system in Tigapanah Subdistrict used the Susi behavior system,
(2) The role of agricultural extension workers in Tigapanah Subdistrict was
categorized as very high, (3) The dynamics of horticultural farmer groups in
Tigapanah Subdistrict was categorized as very high, and (4) The role of
Agricultural instructors have a significant effect on the dynamics of horticultural
farmer groups in Tigapanah District.
