Isolasi Dan Identifikasi Bakteri Vibrio Sp Pada Tambak Udang Vaname (Litopenaeus Vannamei) Di Pulau Rupat Bengkalis
Abstract
The presence of pathogen such as Vibrio sp is one of problems found in shrimp culture. The purpose of this study was to isolate and identify Vibrio sp bacteria from vaname shrimp, in water and sediment in shrimp pond culture in Rupat Island, Bengkalis Regency. This research was conducted in July 2022. Method used in this study was survey in which the Vibrio was isolated from samples of shrimp, water, and sediment by the spread plate technique on TCBS (Thiosulfate Citrate Bille Salt Sucrose) media. The isolated bacteria were brought to the Laboratory of Marine Microbiology, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Affairs, Riau University for morphological observations, biochemical and physiological tests. Based on morphological observations, biochemical and physiological tests, the bacteria with the most various colonies were found in sediment samples. Bacteria identified as Vibrio were found in sediment samples (S2, S3, S5, S6, S7), rearing pond water (AK1), outflow water (EF3, EF4, EF6), inlet water (IN1, IN2), and in WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plant) (IP1).
