Analisis Pengaruh Dan Efisiensi Penggunaan Faktor Produksi Industri Moulding Dan Komponen Bahan Bangunan Di Kota Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
This study aims to determine the technical efficiency, price efficiency, and economic efficiency of the molding industry and building material components in Pekanbaru City. The data used are secondary data and primary data. This secondary data was sourced from the Pekanbaru City Industry and Trade Service while the primary data was obtained from a questionnaire conducted through interviews with 28 respondents from the molding industry and building material components in Pekanbaru City. The data analysis method used in this study is descriptive quantitative through the cobb douglas production function analysis method with the application of the stochastic frontier production function and return to scale. The variables used are capital and labor in the molding industry and building material components in Pekanbaru City. The results showed that the labor variable had a positive and significant effect on the production of molding and building material components. Technical efficiency is 0.99979888, price efficiency is 0.3805, and economic efficiency is 0.3804. Meanwhile, the Return To Scale value is 1.014, meaning that the molding industry and building material components in Pekanbaru City experience the principle of increasing return to scale with an economic efficiency value of less than one, meaning that efficiency in the use of production factors has not been achieved. So to achieve overall efficiency it is necessary to reduce the input proportionally.
