Implementasi Program Peremajaan Sawit Rakyat (PSR) Kabupaten Rokan Hilir Provinsi Riau

The background of this research is the existence of the concept of People's
Oil Palm Rejuvenation (PSR), which at this time really needs its achievement and
application in an organization as we still feel it today. With the implementation of
People's Oil Palm Rejuvenation (PSR) it is hoped that it can help the government,
the community in handling the community's economy.
The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze how the
implementation of the people's oil palm rejuvenation program in Rokan Hilir
Regency, Riau Province. This study uses a qualitative method with an explanatory
approach to the process of collecting data through observation, interviews and
documentation. This research was conducted at the Rokan Hilir District
Plantation Office.
The results showed that the Rokan Hilir Regency Plantation Office had
done its best and collaborated with farmer associations and a team of partners
who were experts in their fields but had not fully run optimally. Where in its
implementation there are still obstacles that occur in the field the most significant
is the condition of peatlands which is currently an obstacle in implementing PSR
in 2022 as well as negative information circulating about filing administrative
requirements making people even more afraid to do PSR.
