Inovasi Penyiaran Melalui Aplikasi Rriplay Go Di Kabupaten Bengkalis

Rapidly developing digitalization has changed world civilization,
including information media. This requires radio to innovate according to the
demands of the times and face media convergence. An easily accessible internet
network makes people make various new breakthroughs as an alternative to using
online media to quickly obtain various information. For this reason, RRI
Bengkalis broadcasts information and entertainment using digital technology,
namely RRI Play Go. This application can be heard via Android and computers,
broadcasting all RRI broadcasts from various regions. RRI also has picture radio,
listeners can see what is being broadcast by streaming. Listen by accessing the
RRI website. This study used a descriptive qualitative design, in which research
data was collected through primary and secondary data through interviews with
individual officials involved in the production or operational processes of RRI
Play go and several users of the RRI play go application. RRI play go is designed
with a program strategy in using strengths and minimizing weaknesses and taking
advantage of opportunities and avoiding threats, using the strength of broadcast
content to serve the public in Bengkalis Regency. In order for broadcasting
innovations using the RRI Play go application to be on par with other media, RRI
has also updated the system that compresses RRI play go, to widen the network so
that socialization is carried out continuously and to collaborate with various
parties.
