Evaluasi Penatausahaan Barang Milik Daerah Pada Pemerintah Kota Dumai

This research is motivated with regional assets administration activities
which are one of the regional assets management activities that are still not managed
properly. Evaluation is needed so that the accuracy of the data of goods carried out
with its administration becomes appropriate.
This type of research uses qualitative methods with an explanatory
phenomenological approach that seeks to find causes and reasons, as well as provide
evidence to support or deny explanations. The data collection techniques used in this
study were interviews, observations and documentation.
The results showed that the process of administering goods was not fully in
accordance with William Dunn's evaluation concept, especially on the leveling
criteria. The obstacles faced by the Dumai City Government in the administration of
goods are that human resources are still less competent, the application system for
administering regional property is still manual and not integrated with the financial
system, lack of socialization and training related to the administration of regional
property, lack of monitoring and supervision of physical regional property. For this
reason, it is necessary to improve competent human resources to support the
implementation of regional property administration in Dumai City, it is necessary to
optimize the application system in the administration of regional property, budget
funds for socialization and training activities related to the administration of regional
property, monitor and supervise the implementation of regional property
administration.
