STUDENTS' OPINION OF FACULTY OF MEDICINE UNIVERSITY OF RIAU ABOUT PORTFOLIO AS A ASSASSMENT SYSTEM IN KAMPUNG PELITA MEDIKA

Kampung Pelita Medika (KPM) is an implementation of community-based learning at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Riau. The assessment system applied is a portfolio. Portfolio assessment is carried out on a collection of assignments given to students using the principles of the portfolio assessment system. This study aims to determine the opinion of students of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Riau about the portfolio as an assessment system on KPM. This research is a mixed method descriptive research (quantitative and qualitative). The results of the quantitative research are the level of student satisfaction regarding the portfolio as a KPM assessment system in the opinion of students, namely in the satisfied category (86%), the average level of student satisfaction based on aspects of portfolio assessment in the satisfied category with the order of the largest average scores starting from the portfolio assessment process (3,11), the benefits of the portfolio (3,04), the problems encountered (2,90), the achievement of learning outcomes (2,90), and the contents of the portfolio (2,73). The results of the qualitative research are in the form of suggestions for improvement in the opinion of the students. Based on the relevance of the portfolio assessment system, it is relevant to community-based learning and the benefits obtained so that no improvement is needed. For the concept of portfolio assessment, it can involve the community's role in giving assessments and the assessment criteria are presented since the beginning of the meeting. For the process of implementing the KPM assessment system, there is a clearer assessment rubric that is conveyed to students and the selection of time to go to the field.
