This research is motivated by a policy related to government steps in tackling
the impact of the spread of Covid-19. The lockdown policy or PSBB (Large-Scale
Social Restrictions) implemented by the government has had an impact on the
economic sector, many people have decreased business turnover and reduced
income. People who have credit facilities at the bank find it difficult to pay their
credit installment obligations so that their credit is non-performing.
This study aims to look at the implementation of OJK policies at Bank Mandiri
Dumai City and what are the inhibiting factors for implementing this policy. The
qualitative research method approach is carried out through the stages of data
reduction, presentation or display of data and conclusions or data verification. To
obtain representative data both primary and secondary data, researchers used
several data collection techniques which included interviews, observation,
documentation and library studies.
The results of the policy evaluation research show that the implementation of
POJK No 11/POJK.03/2020 has not been maximized, where there are still many
customers who do not want to apply because the customer's location is far from the
bank office and because there are costs incurred if the customer wants to apply for a
suspension of credit installment payments, as well as due to the limited number of
human resources so that the process becomes long.
