ABSTRACT
This study aims to explain the influence of Per Capita Gross Regional
Domestic Product, Unemployment and Labor in Pekanbaru City. Thisl research isl
limited byl analyzing quantitativel secondary datal in thel time span betweenl 2010-
2021. Thel data isl processed again accordingl to thel needs ofl the modell used.
Sources from scientific journals and other literature related to this research topic.
The analysis model is used to determine how much influence the independent
variables have on the dependent variable with the Eviews 10 application
measuring instrument.
The results of this study explain that simultaneously the variables Gross
Regional Domestic Product Per Capita, Unemployment and Labor have a
significant effect on poverty in Pekanbaru City but partially Grossl Regional
Domesticl Product Per Capita havel no significantl effect onl Poverty Rate in
Pekanbaru City with a significance value of 0.8592 while the variables of
Unemployment and Labor are partially influential with a significance value of
0.0078 and 0.0000. The dominant variable in this study is the workforce which
has the greatest influence on the poverty rate in Pekanbaru City with a
significance value of 0.0000. Calculations performed to measure the proportion or
percentage of the total variation of the dependent variable that can be explained by
the regression model. From the regression results above the R-squared value of
0.95, this means that the variation in the independent variable explaining the
dependent variable in Pekanbaru City is 0.95 or 95% andl the remainingl variations
in otherl variables arel explained outsidel the modell by 5%.
