Analisis Penerimaan Mata Uang Koin Sebagai Alat Transaksi Di Kecamatan Kubu ( Kabupaten Rokan Hilir )

ABSTRACT This research was conducted in the community in the District of Kubu. The purpose of this research is to find out how the public perceives the receipt of one hundred and two hundred rupiah coins in Kubu District and whether the community accepts coins as a means of transaction in Kubu District. The population of this research is the people in Kubu District. This study uses primary data obtained directly from respondents where the community is the object of research, and secondary data collected from library materials, literature, previous book research and reports. The data collection technique was field survey research, namely data collection at research locations using collection techniques, namely observation and questionnaires. The data analysis method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study show that people in Kubu District do not use coins as a means of buying and selling transactions. People prefer to save coins. This is motivated by the public's perception of acceptance of coins in the Kubu District, they cancel that coins can be burdensome and are rarely used for transactions. And people no longer accept one hundred and two hundred coins because of the associated impact, namely the value of coins is too small and impractical to carry, apart from the high price of goods.
