ABSTRACT
This study were aimed to identify factors that affect oil palm production of independent smallholder on mineral land and peat land, to analys of income of independent oil palm smallholder on mineral land and peat land, to analys of income comparation of Independent oil palm smallholder on mineral land and peat land. The sampling was purposive, total of samples taken to represent of independent oil palm smallholders were 30 mineral land smallholders and 30 peat land smallholders. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis, income analysis, and comparative analysis. The results showed that production factors of oil palm on mineral land and peat land were not the same, production factor difference by using be affected characteristics land. Smallholder’s income on mineral land is Rp 48.289.106/hectar/year. While the income of peat land smallholder is Rp 29.854.917/hectar/year. The income of smallholder on mineral land more than smallholder income on peat land. The income is affected by product total and price of oil palm. The result of t-test analysis has showed that income comparation between independent oil palm smallholder on mineral land and peat land have significant diffrence.
