Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Mind Mapping Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPS Siswa Kelas V Sekolah Dasar
This research is motivated by the results of observations made by researchers on the implementation of social science learning at SD N 136 Pekanbaru, it is known that the social science learning process is carried out using the teacher center approach, lecture method, teaching based on textbooks, transfer of knowledge and giving assignments to students are assisted by using modules designed by learning developers. This causes the social science learning process to become less varied, monotonous, and not student-centered. Therefore, researchers provide an alternative solution to overcome these problems, namely by using the mind mapping learning model. The purpose of this research is to find out and describe whether the mind mapping learning model can influence the social science learning outcomes for fifth grade elementary school students. This study used a quantitative experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest experimental design. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students at SD N 136 Pekanbaru. The results of data analysis in this study obtained an average posttest score of 57.82 students experiencing an increase in learning outcomes of 12,2% compared to the average pretest score of 45.25 students. In addition, the results of hypothesis testing using the paired samples test obtained a significance value (2-tailed) 0.001
