Ppertumbuhan Ekonomi, Upah Minimum Regional Dan Jumlah Penduduk Terhadap Kemiskinan Kabupaten/Kota Di Provinsi Riau
ABSTRACT
The research aims to analyze the effect of economic growth, minimum wage, and population on district/city poverty in Riau Province. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using panel data. The data used is in the form of a time series (2009-2021) and cross-sections (12 districts/cities in Riau Province). The type of data used in this study is secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and journals as support. The analytical method used is the panel data linear regression analysis method with the FEM method using the Eviews 10 software tool. The study's findings partially indicate that poverty has a negative and negligible impact of -0.01, a negative and significant impact of -1.37 on the minimum wage, and a positive and significant impact of 8.26 on the population. According to the R-square statistics, which reveal a value of 0.977 or 97.7%, economic growth, regional minimum wages, and population all have a significant impact on district and city poverty in Riau Province.
