Pengaruh Penduduk Usia Produktif, Belanja Bidang Pendidikan, Belanja Bidang Kesehatan Terhadap Human Capital Dan Produktivitas Tenaga Kerja Di Provinsi Riau
Labor productivity in Riau Province, where from 2004 to 2021 labor productivity
tends to fluctuate, it can be seen that from 2004 to 2011 it tends to increase but in the
following years until 2021 labor productivity conditions tend to decrease. This explains
that there is a change in the ability of the workforce to produce.
The research objective was to analyze the influence of the productive age
population, spending on education, spending on health on human capital and labor
productivity in Riau Province. The data in this study used secondary data in Riau
Province with a research period of 2004 – 2021. The data analysis method was carried
out using the PLS SEM analysis method.
Based on the research results, it is known that the productive age population has no
significant effect on human capital. Expenditures in the education sector have no
significant effect on human capital. Expenditures in the health sector have no significant
effect on human capital. The productive age population has a positive and significant
effect and has a relatively large influence on labor productivity. Expenditure on
education does not have a significant effect on labor productivity. Expenditure in the
health sector has no significant effect on labor productivity. The high spending allocation
for the health sector has not been able to create quality human capital, so that it will be
able to continue to increase work productivity. The better the utilization of health
spending, the better the health condition of the workforce, the better the ability of the
workforce to work. Human capital has no significant effect on labor productivity.
