ABSTRACT
The aim of the research was to obtain the best combined dosage of NPK fertilizer and
organic fertilizer for the growth and production of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) so as to
reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers. The study used a non-factorial Completely
Randomized Design (CRD). The treatments used were: 100% NPK + petroganic fertilizer;
100% NPK fertilizer + solid compost; 75% NPK fertilizer + solid compost; 75% NPK
fertilizer + solid compost + biological fertilizer; 50% NPK fertilizer + solid compost +
biological fertilizer; 25% NPK fertilizer + solid compost + biological fertilizer. Based on the
number of treatments, 24 experimental units were produced. Each experimental unit
consisted of 16 plants and 4 plants were sample plants that were determined randomly, so a
total of 480 plant populations were obtained. .Parameters observed were leaf length, number
of leaves, plant height, tuber diameter, number of tubers per clump, fresh weight per plant,
dry weight per plant, wet weight per 0.8 m2, dry weight per 0.8 m2. From the results of the
study it can be concluded that the best combination is the application of 25% NPK fertilizer
with solid compost + biological fertilizer and can reduce the use of inorganic fertilizers by
75% and 50% NPK fertilizer with solid compost + biological fertilizers and can reduce the
use of inorganic fertilizers by 50%.
