Pemberian Pupuk Kandang Kambing Untuk Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Kacang Hijau (Vigna Radiata L.)
ABSTRACT
Mung beans (Vigna radiata L.) is the most important legume crops after
soybeans and peanuts so that the needs for mung beans will increases. Efforts that
can be made to increase production on marginal land include optimizing
fertilization. This study aims to determine the effect of giving goat manure and
getting the best dose in increasing the growth and production of mung bean plants.
This study used a completely randomized design repeated 4 times with 5 doses of
goat manure, namely: (0; 10; 20; 30; and 40) t.ha-1. The results of the data obtained
were analyzed statistically using analysis of variance and further tested with the
Duncan New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at 5% level using SAS software. The
results showed that a dose of 20 t.ha-1 had a significant effect compared to no goat
manure on the observation of the percentage of effective root nodules, number of
productive branches, harvesting age, number of pods per plant, seed weight per
plant, seed weight per m2 and 100 seed weight mung bean plant. Giving goat
manure 40 t.ha-1 gave the highest seed weight per m2 (541.42 g) equivalent to 3 t.ha-
1 which was significantly different compared to other treatments.
