Pengaruh Zeolit Sekam Padi Dan Pupuk P Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Padi Gogo (Oryza Sativa L.) Pada Medium Podsolik (Ultisol)
ABSTRACT
The productivity of upland rice is relatively low, generally planted on sub-optimal. Productivity can be increased through technological innovation by adding rice husk zeolite and P fertilizer. This research aims to determine the combination of giving rice husk zeolite and P fertilizer and their respective effects on the growth and yield of upland rice. The research was conducted at the Greenhouse and Soil Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture,Riau University from June to October 2022. The research was carried out experimentally in a factorial form using a completely randomized design (CRD). Factor I was rice husk zeolite consisting of 3 levels (0, 200 and 400 kg kg.ha-1) and factor II, namely P fertilizer consisting of 3 levels (0, 50 and 100 kg P2O5.ha-1), respectively each combination was repeated three times. The results showed that the combination of rice husk zeolite dose of 400 kg.ha-1 with P fertilizer dose 100 kg P2O5.ha-1 to increase growth, accelerate panicle exit and harvest and increase milled grain dry weight per clump by 69% compared without rice husk zeolite and P fertilizer. The application of rice husk zeolite at a dose of 400 kg.ha-1 tends to increase the growth and yield of upland rice compared without rice husk zeolite.The Application of P fertilizer dose of 100 kg P2O5.ha-1 increased the number of maximum and productive tillers, number of rice grain per panicle, percentage of rice grain and weight of dry milled grain per clump compared without P fertilizer.
